Does anyone know where I can get this chip? The one on the PCB I have is burnt up. If I replace this chip, will the HD work again?

Normally it is better to change out pcb board on this one. Why not tell us what drive and ID on this one it is easier to advise you on it. Post your drive here so we can help you out a little better on this one.

Not available commonly even if I have them, but 90% there's not only the L6xxx chip gone in the PCB. According to what happened, there's 20-30% probability of preamp damage too (internal problem) - this must be pointed out before changing PCB or attempting repair otherwise you'll have another chip damaged or another complete FUBAR pcb in seconds...
