I was in level 1, I sent the N1 command and powered down for 30-sec Then I powered back up and sent the m0... command. The prompt on the screen was F3 1>

Your instructions were:
Quote:
...Go to level 1 and give command N1
Power off the drive.
Wait 30 seconds.
Power on again the drive.
Give command m0,2,2,,,,,22
Wait until finish translator regeneration...

After powering back up was I supposed to send a command prior to m0,...?

Power off the drive.
Wait 30 seconds.
Power on again the drive.
Press CTRL+Z (to go to level T)
Give command m0,2,2,,,,,22
Wait until finish translator regeneration
Power off

OK, I think I may have it!!
I received several messages ending in "User Partition Format Successful"

I put the drive back into the original computer and it seems to be back.

I am in the process of setting up a NEW drive and will be moving all my data. I will let you know if I am successful.

Thank you Thank you Thank you for all your help!!
grazie di tutto.

Success!! All data has been recovered and transferred to a new drive.

NOW, to see if the old drive be firmware updated and used in non-critical service. I suppose there is a thread on here somewhere on how to do this.

Thanks again. This problem can be marked SOLVED!
