Yes, you can use those. The difference is probably in the power rating.

SMAJ12A -> 400W
SMBJ12A -> 600W
SMCJ12A -> 1500W

I don't understand why your Schottky rectifier failed. They are normally rated at 1A 40V. Perhaps yours was a 20V part.

BTW I transferred TVS but the schottky is too big, simply didn't fit to pads and touches neighbour components. The drive will only be plugged to SATA power only from now on but I wonder do I still need to replace the schottky to complete the protection rail?

I didn't even test yet if the TVS alone would work without schottky

I can't see the marking clearly, but if it is "A1", then it could be a regular 1A 100V 1N4001 rectifier. If that's the case then I don't understand its function unless it is to provide reverse polarity protection.

I checked the 5v TVS' and it says "AK" on it I think??? does that make any sense to you? Do they even use the same schottky?

I'm referring to the two small diodes.

yes me too, the rectifiers. The rectifier near 12v is missing and I'm wondering if it is using the same rectifier that is near the 5v TVS. The rectifier near the 5v says "AK" on it, though Im not entirely sure
