Preamp is fine. It's something else.

Hi
Read the rom by boot code mode, and write it by boot code mode again.

it will solve the problem

Boot 0x40M
Spin Up
TCC-001F[0x00026F7C][0x000270B7][0x000270B7]ZZZZMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMddddddW
PreampFaultStatus = 0000YW
PreampFaultStatus = 0000YWMMMMMM

Sorry but this didn't work, we still get the same error message. Out of interest why would this make a difference? Is it do do with the checksum? or reading/writing part 1 of the ROM vs. part 2?

Have you checked contents inside the ROM by external programmer or reader ? as i see , the client tried to remove but he did not remove ROM . soldering looking nice as factory assembled . maybe he is expert in soldering like Fzabkar... but if he was expert like fzabkar then he was never damaged ROM :) ... whenever you fix it ,please let me know also .I am interested in this kind of research . have a good day
