PuTTY and pl2303 usb to serial

I don't recognise the problem in your last screenshot, but let the log run for a while. If you see "gray errors", they point to head problems. "1140" errors point to problems with specific sectors or firmware modules.

Of course you have a problem with the heads.
And probably with the surface.
And who knows what else.
This hole didn't make itself...

First of all - stop using hddregenerator and other programs that unnecessarily load the disk.
Secondly - looking at what you are doing, seek professional help.

Really?

I mean not a data recovery professional but a computer professional and technician
June 24th, 2024, 12:15
A computer service is not a data recovery company, just as a data recovery company is not a computer service.
The problem in WD is most likely surface degradation, heads weak or the Relo List overflowing, but that's just a guess.
Any requests for help should include a snapshot of the current SMART if possible.
I don't know why this condition is omitted in forum posts...

this is a drive for a different topic...
Lukas has the point, don't mess with client drives without experience. There are several members from India able to take care of this drive with a bit more insight.

As I wrote, the device has problems with the surface (01, C5).
This may also be due to the degradation of the heads.
You can read SMART and the device can still be copied, so there is no problem with ReloList yet.
From a data recovery perspective, slow copying is better than no copy at all.
It is also possible that using hardware/software solutions will not achieve better results on original components.
