Because you trying to use the hddrepair, wich have shifted module numbers, better to use the HEX UBA number instead of module number....

Thanks Janos for your help.
Is it possible to repair a corrupt HLISTS (33h/34h) module on N40P without PC3000/HRT?

This module is not neccessary for drive startup.
But have inside unreproducible data.
Only selfscan can rebuild this module for you.
If you want the data, the way you are is not working.

If you want the drive, simply forget this module....

Thanks again Janos!
No I do not need data .
I am thinking about if SS modules are corrupted in SA or SAC.
What will happen if I start SS ?

It depends on what do you planning to do.
If you SS from A, the module will be rebuilt again. (or will fail the process, if the ss can't reallocate the defect)
But if you are in C, the SS will fail, and will left the drive for a brick.

Hi Spildit!
Which module(s) contains the SelfScan script on N40p?
I assume 0Eh is that. Is it correct?
Can you explain please...
Selfscan can repair a corrupt Hlists(33h) module?
Thanks for replies

Hi all!
What is the size limitation of HD Duplicator Demo (30G) ?
I can clone a N40P (40G) with this tool. Why?

SS won't repair 33, will exit instead if corrupted.

OK. Maybe this way : Clear a corrupt 33h and after SS...
How can I clear this module without PC3000/HRT?
Thanks for replies.

AFTER SS ? If SS ended OK you don't need to touch it. Before : write a clean 33.
April 17th, 2009, 14:09
Iszerda,
You need to clear this module for be sure the SS will run smoothly.
It will rebuild the contents inside, if the original was a clean and good one.
If not, maybe BlackST have right, the SS can exited abnormally, but it depends on model/script/prog and so on, in this way, who knows before try?
Anyway, as i sad, it depends generally on what do you want to try?
Wich 33h module is damaged, and you planned to run wich SS?
