 Post subject: Drive Hitachi 2.5 with plates moved

Hi,


I work in to company datarecovery, I have to drive hitachi de 2.5 with problems in head. I have the donor but the drive with problem in the heads have the plate moved top. how I can move the plates to position original or is impossible?

ja maybe he its trying to tell us , one platter was moved and want to know how to return to the original position if was lost the original alignment, could be possible but u need a lot of equiment and a high level of experience to decode signals , and find the correctly position

I see two problems,

Aligment and Heads.

Wich model off the disk is ?

The drive model is IC25N060ATMR04-0 HITACHI 60GB 2.5"

It is NOT impossible but it will be MUCH EXPENSIVE. And the chances are medium-low.

There is often a head stick and your clients could just move both platters (not separately).
