seagate hdd erase when locked with password???

nice try- but you cannot write or read data on locked hard drive.

You need to get the master password somehow or crack it using equipment, software. If you in the UK i can do it cheap for you.

yes is the same drive with the stuff unreadable i found another drive to read the stuff (st380815as 8mb cache instead of 2mb st380215as) now the stuff is ok but is still locked

connected the hdd ctrl+z and then ctrl+u to print the stuff on working hdd then on the hdd with the stuff problem....

And you expect it will work beside the "ATA LOCK" problem ? At least you must borrow the STUFF from identical drive

if u have access to firmware edit vendor track 6th sector write 00 00 in first 2 byte and save it back , your password is removed.
