Hi,

2 questions: what happened before head swap? Have you tried to close the lid and power up the drive to check if heads move?

Are you sure there's nothing wrong bellow the magnet preventing the heads to move?
Have you inserted PCB screws?

Well, that could be an option.
I've seen several situations in which heads didn't move, since missing PCB screws, bad PCB, bad pre-amp, etc.

So, there are 2 options. Or your PCB is killing your preamp or you damaged it while replacing it.
