platters spin, heads arm dosn't move from park to platter

Hello,

I have a WD1600AAJS-75M0A0 that I changed the heads.

Now the I can see the platters spin but the head arm doesn't move from park to the platters. When I re-use the new heads in the donor drive, it works fine.

The donor have the same 4-to-7 DCM, same country, same model, and 6 months between the manufacture date of the 2 drives

Could the manufacture date be the problem? why the new heads doesn't even clicks. it doesn't move from park?

can you post the ROM of the both patient and donor here ?

if there are different enough in microcode drive will not spin
