Hi All,

I have a Samsung HD103SJ 1TB hd that spins up and then stops. In terminal, LED 1A04 error appears as bellow. It is said the PC3K new version can unlock it and let the hd get ready. But my version is 4.2. Any smart guy can fix it through the terminal commands? Please help. Thanks.

I think the problem is damaged A-list (check the defect lists).

For bad A-list on this series the disk spins down and remains BSY.

If you have new version of UDMA you can easily solve this. Alternatively you need to get data access via HotSwap. Or, you can outsource it.

Submit LE command in the terminal for access reception to the SA and cleaning A-list. Or download HTBI (for example 1AJE37CB.D25, depends from PN) and then there will be an access to SA, cleaning A-list and download Main.

Yes, certainly. Probably it is necessary to clear a SMART also.

Hello!
I have a patient drive with LED 1A04 error.
With SRT Pro tool i can access to terminal, but the drive is stays bsy.
The drive is a M7S2 HM161GI, and don't have a donor drive for hot swap.
How can i put the drive to safe DRDY state to clear A-List and smart data?
I have stuck on step "Submit LE command in the terminal for access reception to the SA"
Did i misunderstood something?
Thanks for help.

Hi,
What happens when you enter in the terminal LE [Enter] ???
PS All you need is any M7S2 drive, and leave only one head (turn off other in the ROM) and you'll have a HDD what you need...

Thanks, the problem solved.
The only one step i did not is "hit ENTER" in terminal before "LE" command and after LED 1A04 error. (Thanks Waquas Ali for the good support)

Thanks again!
Cheers!
