Western Digital Bios Problem

Hello,

I have two harddrive Western Digital 320 GB 2.5 with same PCB 2060-771682-004 Rev A

One of is completly crashed and Windows can not see this Hard Drive
other harddrive is working perfectly I change the PCB and change the bios too with working PCB but still do not work

I think the bios is damaged because the other working bios is work with two same PCB s

Please help if you have any idea

Is there a way to fix the bios

i think bios is correct. problem in hdd. if you need data from this drive then bring to data recovery company.

did you try the other pcb without changing BIOS, does it spin that way ?

Hi,

Yes I try it starts to spin but not to start recognize. So Operating system does not give any sign about harddrive.

But another detail** healty bios (I think ) Works with two PCB without any problem spin and recognize..

İ have same problem..

i got same model wd wd20ears-00mvwb0

but the PCB rev is different.

swapping and rom transfer is useless..

Bana özetle bu harddiskin biosu lazım bunların benzersiz olduğunu biliyorum onun için birebir aynı seri olmalı, bulamazsam en kötü diski değiştireceğim..

Tekrar selam hepsinin PCB numarası aynı sadece 1 HDD sağlıklı çalışıyor ve dataları gösteriyor
Hi Again all the PCB numbers are same, one of the harddrive ( right one ) work as well and can Access data.

Is Changing bios and ICC fix this problem

most likely problem is not PCB, could be FW, bad sectors or heads.
If data is important i would suggest to contact a DR company.
