I must admit, I wouldn't have thought it to work simply based on the model number...though, I probably would have tried too if I didn't have a closer match.

Agree. But I believe that Toshiba is the most friendly drive in head/s replacement.

So, I did the heads change. (4 heads)
Imaged successfully 100% ( 5 bad sectors all )

Copying the data now to the customer drive.
