Toshiba MK5075GSX stuck at BSY after head swap

Hi

I have MK5075GSX with dead heads, i replaced heads and after imaging %8 with PC3K only the hard drive just stuck at BSY.

Now the hard drive click 4-5 times and stuck in BSY.

here after powering up

I just did
i put the head back on the donor and it works fine.

but on the patient drive still stuck on BSY

usualy after Recalibration the drive get DRD and DSC, and when i try to do any thing like reading the ID it stuck at DRQ

it mostly stuck at BSY after power on. and cannot check g-list while it is stuck in BSY

when i do

Soft reset ...
Hard reset ...
Recalibration attempt .................. : Recalibration error HDD Redynes timeout (10000)
Recalibration........................... : Ok

i get DRD and DSC

after that any thing i do will like reading id or g-list will stuck at DRQ

Did you try to CLEAR the G-LIST when the drive is in DRD and DSC ?

Do you have terminal/ttl access to the drive ?

Clearing the g-list with make it click again and stuck on BSY sometimes and sometimes ERR

With DE did you try to use active utility/virtual translator to read the drive ?

it work now with virtual translator for short time then i have to power of/on the drive + Recalibration to make it DRD and DSC in order to continue and so on
