I believe that issuing the following commands (at level T) will achieve the same end as jermy is suggesting.

    F,"READ_SPARING_ENABLED",0,22
    F."WRITE_SPARING_ENABLED",0,22
    F,"OFFLINE_SPARING_ENABLED",0,22
    F,"DAR_ENABLED",0,22
    F,"DISABLE_IDLE_ACTIVITY",1,22
    F,"BGMS_DISABLE_DATA_REFRESH",1,22
    F,"ABORT_PREFETCH",1,22
    F,"READ_LOOKAHEAD_DISABLED_ON_POWER_UP",1,22
    F,"READ_CACHING_DISABLED_ON_POWER_UP",1,22

You might like to read the following thread before proceeding.

Seagate F3 Arch - Patching the 093 sysfile :
http://www.hddoracle.com/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=1842

After making the changes, I would dump the full set of parameters again. then compare them against your first F list.

    F"OFFLINE_SPARING_ENABLED",0,22
    F"DAR_ENABLED",0,22
    F"DISABLE_IDLE_ACTIVITY",1,22
    F"BGMS_DISABLE_DATA_REFRESH",1,22
    F"ABORT_PREFETCH",1,22
    F"READ_LOOKAHEAD_DISABLED_ON_POWER_UP",1,22
    F"READ_CACHING_DISABLED_ON_POWER_UP",1,22

Apparently, head 0 is not completely ok. I prefer to check it by testing sysfile 181 before any attempts to fix SA.

Just RW test. What kind of tool do you use?

This is very hard because OP is lacking tools.

No hardware card like PC-3000/MRT/HRT to shut down power so OP have to do that on it's end. Drive takes 2/4 min to reach F3 T> and i can't short points on PCB remotly, so i have to wait.

Send in F commands and set correct flags, then change to ASCII mode to gain ATA access but there are no tools to check drive by ATA. OP have to connect drive to SATA on the live system (because there are no hardware tools).

Victoria will not install (system is 64 bit and driver for victoria is not signed) so i can't gain direct I/O to the drive. Can't see register status as well.

No hardware cloning tool as well.

There are 2 entries on non-resident G-List.

I think it's better to stop messing up with the drive or it will be like this very shortly ...

Image

I *REALLY* think that OP should take drive to someone with better tools to image it by hardware while the drive is still responding....
