Data recovery and disk repair questions and discussions related to old-fashioned SATA, SAS, SCSI, IDE, MFM hard drives - any type of storage device that has moving parts

Hello,
Recently, I had a couple of scratched disks (small or big scratches), I couldn't retrieve any data. I asked another well know Lab, same result.
One customer asked me if there was someone on earth who could retrieve a part of it, I said no. This is probably the best place to ask, so I assume the answer is "no" but problem occurs when you "assume", so I am sure with all the professional on this forum, I'll get the final answer.
Is there a Lab specialized for scratches/desperate cases ?
Thanks
Sam

i work a lot with damaged platters, with good rates, but of course i woN't be able to recover data from the filter, so the question is how much it is damaged.
And another question is what kind of data do they need, because there are some data structures not very tolearant to missing fragments (like databases), while others might be useful even if it is a partial recovery.
