Hi,

I received a WB800 hdd for recovery. The problem is the disk spin normally after a while (les than 30 seconds) it stops spinning., and start again. There is no knocking sound. Everything seems normal than stop spinning sometimes.
It is recognized by bios some times correctly. But it gives an error as secondary hdd fails F1 to continue.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

when you shoot from the hip - you miss very often.

In this case most likely one head not reading correctly
and fw is just perfect.

Please do not test anyone's knowledge anymore. This is not needed on this forum.

To repair the hdd use pc3k isa to disable the faulty head and get repalce it with good head .
