HI gurus!

I have Fujitsu MHV2080AH with burnt main processor any chance of recovery? The main processor is BGA type.

no, ROM is embedded in microprocesssor " i think", maybe someone can confirm

i have exact same firmware and i swapped over, not working still clicking.....could it be hda bad?

I tried with same fw still clicking, i think the Head preamp is faulty too...

MHV - heads very sensitive.
be cautious when transplanting new heads not to "stretch" spring arms
when opening heads for insert to "ramp".

Also, these heads pick up tiny particles very, very easy and then collect
more from media.

Just check heads with microscope, if some "dirt" almost can forget it for success.
Also check profile of head surface and you can see why these heads are good at
scratching media surface.

No, thats a diode. If the processor failed i am afraid it's gone, firmware on MHV cannot be matched just from the label itself. sometimes it does not work.
