There is no such thing as ROM problem. Poor drives...

As my soldering skills are hampered by poor eyesight ( and I don't
have a microscope yet ) . It is easier for me to replace the rom code
in a donor pcb, than it is to replace rom chip.
So while the Rom might be not be bad , this is still a solution for me .
