Hi,
Are U sure it is ROM problem...?
PS U must add ROM version, or Date code...

I am sure that the WD2500JB-OOGVAO is a rom problem
Date is 28 feb 2005 ( is there another code ?)

The WD2500JB-OOREAO might need complete firmware
date is 01 feb 2007

As my soldering skills are hampered by poor eyesight ( and I don't
have a microscope yet ) . It is easier for me to replace the rom code
in a donor pcb, than it is to replace rom chip.
So while the Rom might be not be bad , this is still a solution for me .
