Pointing out exact issue. I was of opinion with old terminal adpater I will not be able to adjust signal levels but for basic functions it will work.
But it seems I will have to replace it anyhow.
One last question whether this adapter which is readily available will be fine or I should go for ace one ?

I am using this for over a year no issue at all. ace one was 3 times costly. I think both adapaters use same chipset and are manufactured in china.
Being ace price is high.
