Take my old ST80GB 7200.10 hard disk and want to "repair" it.
It cannot be recognized in Bios.
After Google for a while,I want to try a "Cert test"(without understand yet):
T> Ctrl+r
(Valid ... Cert code:....)
T> N2,,22
T>Ctrl + T
.....
.....
.....
Log 6F - No Log on Disk
Total Cert Time = 02:52:36
ASCII logging off
Power Cycling

************* ASCII LOG OVERFLOW ****************

Test=4f, Feature=0, cumhlth=220c, curhlth=220c
AbEnd Test 4E
T>

Then I am jammed absolutely.
Anybody would lead me out?

A bit too late . Test 2 run = SA gone.

I'm sure Google has the answer for the rest.

cumhlth=220c thats why test ended abnormally.
Better visit nearest shop and buy new drive!

And also goodbye to the drive if you meant to repair it because you did not backup firmware before the test .

The problem was NOT the command N2,,22 , it was the CTRL T afterwards....
