I made an experiment with a hard disk Seagate 500 GB with problems of stuck motor. I put within the freezer 1 day, the next day I removed it of the freezer and connect it to the PC3000, I struck 3 times in the later part of the disc and this he started. That funny. .je je je

What was the final solution? Y cable?

Always good to post the final solution for future users who run into a similar problem.

Good thinking... The solution?

I put the drive into the deep freeze then ran a USB cable to my laptop which I placed on top of the freezer.

Took two or three attempts, but I got all the info off that I needed.

Anyone care to explain why the freezing cold allows me to access the drive?

This is definitely any of the "professional's" way, i am sure...

There are explanations to why freezer *MAY* help in *CERTAIN* *SPECIFIC* situations, but in this case I am surprised that it worked.
