Working on a 2.5" drive with bad sectors.

Have ran MHDD 4.6 - Scan with Erase Delays ON

Now, when I go to run MHDD with SCAN and Remap ON,

its just stops / freezes after just 2mins of scanning.

What to do next?

The drive is beyond repair with MHDD. If erasing (zerofill) doe not solve, the drive is beyond repair with NORMAL END-USER ways.

BlackSt, I did not Zerofill it at all. But I did select "erase delays" - is that the same thing as zerofilling the drive?

Is there still hope?

No, completely different. If you don't mind LOOSING ANY DATA ON THE DRIVE give a try with zerofill (ERASE command) . IT WILL IRREVERSIBLY ERASE ANY DATA ON DRIVE.
After that, turn off then on and rescan. If the problems are "gone", you can "still" use the drive.
Be careful about selecting the correct drive = not to zerofill your system drive :D

Can MHDD's erase and remap commands be used on an IMAGED drive
or do you have to used the ORIGINAL drive?
