Can not get rid of a drivelock.
Fujitsu WHT2040AH

please help if you can

If the data is not important try to find a copy of atapwd.exe.

This will allow you to securely erase the HDD and remove the password, but I am not 100% sure if it is still available.

Or hddunlock.com (if you don't need the data)

If you DO need the data and the password is known, then usew MHDD to unlock it.

If you DO need the data and the password is NOT known, then this needs pro help I'm afraid.

Are you sure the model is Fujitsu WHT2040AH
it should be Fujitsu MHT2040AH

Maybe the OP is reading the model number on the label -- upside down ???

In any case, the difference between an ASCII "M" and an ASCII "W" involves several bits.
