 Post subject: WD Head Alignment

Can head alignment be an issue on WD drives with ramps? I understand that this is true, but could someone elaborate on this a bit?

WD head alignment is an issue no mater what. Unless there is platter damage or a bad preamp you should not consider touching the heads.

Have to add one here: if the flex print to the VCM has vaporized you will also have to touch the stack ;)
