qubit,

You need to find the right place. I use nozzle shaped for TSOP40. TV repair is swap boar and solder wires or maybe a TH (through hole) resistor or IC. Do they even have a solder sucker and HAP? There is a robot in the facility where I work but you just don't need it for rework. Keep looking for the right shop.

Well ,
My Kinda Guy ,what All tools Do you Have in electronics buddy ,PM me lets chat in private :D

LCD and plasma TVs are usually serviced via board swaps, but most of the CRT and RPTV sets are repaired at chip level. The more recent CRT sets have plenty of smt components.

BTW, a TV repair shop doesn't just do TVs.

I guess most of the TV repair places in my most nearby neighborhood are not advanced enough. However, once I widened my idea of what I was searching for, I found the EMS company. I'll find out on Monday if they can do the job for me.

Amarbir, you are breaking a HDD Guru Forum Rule: Do not post messages like "I can help you just PM me" or "Email me" or "Chat with me". Use private messages instead. However it may have been an accident... I just tried to PM you, and it came out as a post on this thread!

Okay fair enough :) Maybe I misinterpreted the rule.

Two mutually exclusive possibilities regarding what happened:

1) I really did use the "pm" button to write that message accusing you of breaking a forum rule. A bug in the forum software caused it to come out as a reply in the thread instead of a PM. Then the admin caught the error and fixed it silently.
or
2) To do a double quote, I went Back and pressed "quote" to cut and paste. I may have accidentally pasted my final message in there instead of in the PM.

Occam's Razor would suggest that it was #2. If that's the case... Oops!
