 Post subject: Maxtor 6B200M0 spins up normally, but as 0MB Sabre - help me

Good day everyone.

My Maxtor DiamondMax 10 200GB SATA drive needs a Service Area fix i guess..
It seems to spin up and initialize normally, but even in MHDD i see only Sabre and 0GB capacity
corrupted firmware code: BANC2B7Z instead BANC2B70

I found some ldr databases on the net, but nothing compatible with my drive. Is there a chance to get files out from it using HDD Repair and correct ldr/firmware ? :(

That sounds enough.. So i better give this to a specialist.. Just thought someone can give some advice

You could do this one if you had special tool to allow you to enter to the SA. Programs such as you want to use can not do this and work in the SA of your HDD. LDR files are used to gain access to the SA in your HDD in safe mode. These program do not allow you to accomplish what is needed to fix the problems in the SA modules and get to your data area sorry. In truth it is cheaper at this point to let someone who has these tools fix your drive. Give us an idea of where you are located and we can suggest someone in your area that can help you with this one.
