Ok so I accidentally plugged my asrock power cable into the My Book. So it fried it. I tried a similar pcb and that gave power to the drive but no data access.

So I now need a recommendation on where I can send it for a pro to fix it. I think the drive itself is fine, just the pcb is borked.

I'm in the uk, can anyone help recommend a reputable pro and give me an idea what I need to pay? The data is pics of my kids and home movies that I'd like to keep.

Thanks,

Rob.
