Hi the story goes like that.
That HDD was in laptop and suddenly PC got switched off. and did not boot any more.
I got the drive out, concocted it via R-Driver cable to USB and under windows recognized mass storage device installed it and it was ready to use.
Unfortunately the drive was not visible under My Computer.
I used

Recover My Files v4

to make a scan and it did found that drive with the proper name under USB device. COOL

I started the scan to recover the files. Somewhere along the line my PC rebooted as I was doing to many things on it in the same time! I am sure that this was not done because of the scan.
I started the scan once again and it was going fine and it did rebooted one more tine. IN the attack of panic I decided to disconnect this HDD and in my endless stupidity I grabbed the drive not be sides but from the top and the plate bended and the drive made horrible noise!!!!!
Now when I try to scan the drive with the same software it stops there no drive H:. I have to unplug the drive and then shows
//phicaldrive3 not readable media.

I have to questions.

What I did with that drive?
Is it possible to fix it?\
Any ideas?

PLZ HELP! I AM DESPERATE!

You probably jammed that drive.

Originally you had problems with that drive, plus jamming it made it worse.

I would recommend to seek for professional help now.

HI all
THX for advise abut after a lot of praying and swearing I DONE IT!
I left PC to scan in search if drive first for +30min and it worked. HDD was found by the proper mane.
Then I left it for scan it took +24h (300GB) but I manage to recover all files apart from 60% of movies) but all other important files I have.

I do not now how it worked but I am happy now.

THX
