Just received for check-in a drive with the top cover screwed in with one screw holding the top cover on, and the top cover was misaligned so it was sticking out 1 inch in the top and the HSA was exposed. All heads are crashed, top platter is scratched and contaminated, and to top it all off, it is a Seagate HDD with a 1TB Western Digital top cover on it.........

Waiting to talk to the guy on the phone and explain the situation. Plus I have GOT to hear this story.

They put WD heads into Seagate drive.
It like sparks plugs- temporarily should work ok.. Not in HDD's

From the looks of it the heads were not swapped, or at least when we got it it had Seagate heads in it, but on further inspection, the platters had also been removed and now spin freely of each other, and rattle if the drive is moved, and half the internal screws were missing. I guess some people really don't deserve to get their data back

This is Ironic, I just recieved a drive that it was obvious that
the cover had been removed. "They said they couldn't do anything"
"They said Freezer didn't work"
