 Post subject: seagate momentus 5400.3 terminal output

Looks like seagate has changed the way the terminal output looks a bit. Every time the HM REG701 87 shows up the drive is clicking. Once it finally stops I am stuck at the F> prompt.

Any ideas or suggestions? I am assuming it is just a bad head.

Typically these are catastrophic media damage

This is the problem. Drc is right,you probably have media damage...
