:D I have next good news to you :!: That very smal capcitor near screw is 110nF (nano) I think you no know from take it ? Say me what other broken hdd(or other hardware) you have maybe i be know then from where you can desolder that capacitors if in you neighbourhood you cant find in neither shops.

Thanks for the tips kaziulaz, I will see what I can do, although I believe the defective component is somewhere else, and unfortunately with no visual identifiable damage :P But I will investigate it further. At least now I have the values of the capacitors :wink: Although I expected the bypass capacitor (near the screw) to have a smaller value. I'll see if I can find another suspect component. Thanks again.
