happy new year people
was hoping someone could help me out?
my comps been acting pretty weird and I cant figure it out
i even formatted and it's still not back to normal.

one specific thing is does is bluescreens when trying to copy a large amount of data from my external drive
i think it blue screens here and there other times also but im not sure
and if it does, not very often
i ran hddscan and got

197 Current Pending Sector Count 193 189 00000000-03B6 000

198 Uncorrectable Sector Count 193 193 00000000-03A1 000

i also ran wedstern digital data lifeguard diagnostics for windows and
it gets about 75%? through and freezes up and then freezes my computer completely
i even ran it in safe mode

computer also freezes upon its own sometimes too
i do put it under pretty heavy load but
it used to be able to handle it
itll start running like complete crap too when i dont even have much going on
its a pentium d (dual core) around 3GHZ processor with windows XP and at least 1gb of ram.
it is getting old now but the hard drive is under 2 years old i would say.
its a western digital.

thansk so much everyone. happy holidays . god bless!

You have a bunch of bad sectors. Best to stop messing with tests and such and copy data and/or image the drive while you still can
