Hello,

I have problems with my disk Seagate disk (st9500), is possible to access it using a RS232->TTL adapter?
Can I use SeDiv to dump firmware data to see what is wrong with him? Since I have several disks of the same model I could find what is wrong with this one...

You can build a terminal adaptor and send the terminal log here to the forum. You are not giving a lot of info on this one. What was original problem with your seagate.

The drive (ST9500 MOMENTUS FDE.4) is powering up normally and recognised correctly but is report a size of 0 bytes, I have SMART errors also.
My idea was to read the vendor track (in the firmware), how can I build a terminal adaptor for this disk, there is a page with instructions?
since the disk is a laptop disk I don't see the serial interface, but the 3.5" version has serial interface....
