 Post subject: Seagate ST9250315AS 5400.6 Problem.

Hello gurus,

I have this drive : ST9250315AS 5400.6 after fixing 0 capacity problem the drive can access the first 27 GB successfully, but after that all sectors are shown UNC and the customer needs the whole data.

Anyone please have any idea.

heard about that problem with .6 Translator is to blame AFAIK.
U regenerated the translator to fix 0 cap problem right ?
PC3K should allow you to run Translator Recovery.

Yes sir. And the problem now is the rest of the drive after first 27 GB are uncorrectable sectors (UNC), I suspect the problem with ( regenerating the translator )
