Anybody used professional data recovery companies/people that you can recommend to me please.
My HD has crashed and its not reading/spinning when connected to another system. Mostly its a PCB issue

People I have contacted are saying ~$1000

There are a couple on the east coast on the boards here that are highly recommended. I am in Austin and can help you out as well. Most places will give you a wide quote range until they can look at the drive and determine exactly what is at fault. You say it is not spinning, could be just bad bad electronics, could be both electronics and heads, could be a seized motor. Hard to tell until it is given a proper diagnosis.

How do you know that is PCB? Do you already have good diagnosis?

If it really is a PCB issue, then I recommend DIY, depending on the HDD model. Often the fix will cost you nothing. If you need to swap the PCB, then it shouldn't cost you more than about US$40 for the board, plus up to US$20 for a "ROM" or "firmware" transfer.

i've used jono-ats (here on the forum) and they are nothing but upfront and professional. I'll PM you their info.

The OP clearly doesn't understand that a "professional DR company" is not required for a simple board swap, unless of course by "DR" the OP means "Drive Repair", in which case his local TV/AV repair shop should be able to handle the job. In fact, electronic repair has been my profession for several decades, so I am professionally qualified to advise and assist the OP on such matters. In addition to Drive Repair, I was also doing Data Recovery before I knew there was a term for it.

In any case I can't understand why anyone would object to the assistance I have offered to the OP. To me it just seems like the right thing to do.

i know both of you are Pro`s in ur own field,

both of them together is the Bingo Combination, from your posts (both of you) i see that you (both) are fighting for no reason guys, which i really dono why?!!!

from my point of view: fzabkar is right, offering/helping from what he knows in PCB diagnose/repair
and seems that thatdellguy is not happy with that which i cannot find any reason for that really.

both of you really have very well experience which i WISH to see you both back as friends here on this community
and really i HATE to see Brothers fighting with each other for no reasonable reason.

really wish that both can help each other here as Friends 1st. & as Brothers @ the end.

Get a 2nd or 3rd opinion : personally I don't have "NEAR" contacts or suggestions right in NC area (Charlotte in NC, right ?) but as soon as UPS / FedEx surface shipping is cheap and safe, there are a lot of valuable members of this forum who can surely and safely help, the first that come to mind are drc , pcrecovery, quasimodo, thatdellguy, jono-ats ... don't remember at the moment (I'm on the move) if any of these people cannot accept referrals, but it's worth a PM sent and hear from them.
(Sorry if I didn't mention someone of the other friends from the forum).

@everyone else :

when someone ask for PROFESSIONAL HELP or CONTACT I think it is not fair not good to talk about hypotetical solutions that are NOT asked. It's like asking "what time is it" and having "thursday" in answer.
zepheyer asked for a contact AND in addition said that he was quoted "x" but the only thing wanted was a name or maybe a couple of names, not other kind of help. If he wanted "technical" help he would have asked for THAT help straight away , or right from the start.
It's ONLY UP TO HIM to decide if a professional DR tech, a TV/AV shop, a plumber, a veterinary or just himself is necessary to swap, program, fix, analyze, destroy the board or the entire drive and how much to pay for it !!
