What's new in DC 10.00?

Update Features:
i. Compatible with Windows XP/VISTA/7 64-bit edition
ii. Support FAT16/32 file system for extra-large sector 512 sectors/clusters etc.
iii. Edit LBA volume by user
iv. Fix bug of Memory leaking when scanning NTFS files
v. Optimization of recovery Files search engine

so does this mean another bug :(

why would your dc stop working as its a program update not a hardware update

I can confirm that DC is still working in win7 sp1 64 bit and XP sp3 32 bit..
Also i have keeps the old version and its still working ( xp sp3 32bit only )..

Seems like almost nothing got fixed in this new version. If you made a suggestion in the past please let me know if it was fixed or skipped in this new version. If you have a new suggestion please let me know so we can document this ongoing communication problem with SD. Thanks.

ok but its only program updates and not hardware so nothing would be written to the data compass at all

it be total safe wont damaged your unit


im surprise they not taken up the suggestion list and fix the issue.

so next question which is the best version to stick with ??????????

I just updated to v10.00 on my Windows XP SP3 laptop and it seems to be working fine. It looks like 3 new buttons have been added in the SA Emulation tab, or whatever it is called. The Data Compass manual needs to be updated again to reflect the changes between version 8.00 to 10.00. The last Data Compass manual update was 6-3-2010. It needs to be updated at least once year.
