i recovered a raid 0 ( 2x320GB -> 1 hdd had a firmware issue, repaired and imaged fine )
so i imaged both hdd into 2x500gb r-studio confirm array parameter and i can see and save all teh folders.
so i wanted to put back the new 2 hdds on the pc, controller ich8r Intel still configured as array mode,
but on boot the controller bios it promp a scenario "non array".
image went very good without bed sectors, do you have any idea?
(if i put back the 2x320GB originals hdds the controller bios it show correctly 1 member disk + 1 fault drive)

Magari non e' un problema tuo. Dagli indietro i file salvati su un altro supporto e lascia che siano loro a risistemarsi il RAID. A meno che non te lo abbiano chiesto come extra.

It may be not your problem : give them back the files - saved on another carrier - and it's up the customer to rebuild the array.
Unless they asked you to do so as extra.

I agree with Blackst. I would tell them that they may need to set up a brand new raid themselves and copy the data you recovered from it over to the new raid.

That way if they have issues with the new raid later on you will not need to get involved since you already gave them the data back on a different medium

Then your earning your choice. You "have" to do it if you get money but BEWARE if they asked you to have the whole system UP AND RUNNING AGAIN as you may not know what runs on that system (= a lot of troubles)

Why won't you just copy the recovered data to a new drive, let's say a 1TB disk, and then build the array of the 2x500GB from scratch?

Then after raid is done, just copy the data from 1TB disk to your newly built raid 0. It is double time but safe way to go.
