 Post subject: WD 2TB suddenly changed to FAT16!

Hi everyone. i have a WD 2TB which suddenly changed from NTFS to FAT16 file system.
there is about 700gb of data. i made a file recovery with atola but i got half of the data corrupted for some reason.

in windows managment the drive seems to be innaccesible and needs to be formated. any ideas?

how come? did u ran the command line? or used any utility for that?

Probably the partition is corrupted. Have you tried R-Studio?

How does half the data being corrupted equate to a full recovery?
