Hello

I have this drive wich came with a burned diode. I removed it and the HD already spins.
But now, when trying to work with it, it makes a few clicks (not loud clicks) and spins down. Can't be detected.
When I try to see the head map, the heads start at 2-3-4-5, don't start from 0, as you can see from the picture.

What can this be?

Thanks

Real head map on this drive is 2,3,4,5,6,7

So as you can see the SD tool does not support this model properly.

Quiet clicking followed by spin down is classic symptom of bad head(s).

Member dmarques is in Portugal and comes highly recommended.
