hi and merry christmas to all the forum's followers,
i got the hitachi on the object, it doesn't seem to be supported from pc3000, this is the first time i have this drive, it doesn't click and comes ready with abr error and no id, i had a couple of hitachi different family with same syntoms and they were all pcb issue.

Guessing that the issue is the pcb, i was wondering if swapping what looks to me like nvram (works for some hitachi)on the board will fix the issue? I usually overwrite nvram o play the adjustment but in this case the fact is that the drive is unsupported.

if anyone had any similar experiences and solved it i would appreciate help.
thanks

i attached the board pic, with a circle on the chip i think could be sensitive.

He means can you describe any markings or signatures on the chips themselves that could help identify the type of flash chips and confirm it as EEPROM or not.
