Hi guys.

I have a SCSI drive in which requires a HSA replacement. Out of interest, how can i find out how many platters are inside the drive without opening it first?

I did have a link in my bookmark folder which was a website which all drive models and their respective platter/head details.

The drive is a Seagate ST34572W. Part number - 9J6002-037.

Cheers, Steve.

If you Google "ST34572W specifications" you will find an answer in about 60 seconds.

Magic, eh?
