Hello readers of this topics,
First thing I'm not Italian and English but I have written in your language with the help of google translator.
I have a serious problem: I have a 1.5tb harddrive that I have basically taken by a technician who told me that the PCB is broken.
You can find the pieces
PS: I'll post the codes below:
Serial PCB: 2061-701640-402
Hardisk Model: WD15EADS - 11P8B1.

I also placed 2 photos for more information.

HDD FRONT:

HDD RETRO:

Could we see the important side of the circuit board, ie the component side?

That photo is not showing the component side of the PCB, as you were requested to provide.

However, now that you have explained there is that noise from the disk drive (we would probably call it a "clicking" or "ticking" noise i.e. tick, tick), then that already means the PCB is not likely to be the cause of the problem.

If the data is important to you, then I suggest you use a professional data recovery company, because it seems that the technican who said the PCB is faulty for a "ticking" disk drive, is likely to have given an incorrect diagnosis.

Please don't expect anything further from me in this thread - I can see that the communication difficulties would exceed my frustration & time limits. Good luck and you can ask other members if you want recommendations for reputable DR companies.

Ciao, concordo con Vulcan, ci sono varie aziende di recupero dati anche da noi, puoi contattarle e chiedere quotazini per il servizio di recupero dati.

Hi,
i agree with Vulcan, there re some DR companies in our country you can check and ask quotes for DR service
