Guys ,
Got a Case From a Gentlemen .He Says There Was No Label On this HDD .This is My First USB 3.0 HDD From WDC and I am Sure He is Not Telling The Truth .Can someone please confirm .

PS : I Can Clearly See He Has Removed 4 Seals To Remove Top Cover ,But i am curious To Know If there Was a Label Removal As i Cannot Figure That Out Please .

with careful removal u can do + some cleaning stuff

in addition new refurbished drives has easy removing sticker as well

Always seeing those drives (and others) with label. Never saw drives without label except opened drives.

Even if the HDD is open it is not necessary to remove the entire label. Never seen one with label completely removed. Seens strange it does not come with a label at all

Agree. It is enough to locate the position of the hidden screws to open the top lid.

I Do Agree It Should Have a Label .the customer Says Otherwise .If The 3.0 External WDc HDD Without Labels Its impossible

Not only has the label been removed, you can still see the glue residue where the silver circular stickers were over the screw holes.

He is lying.

I agree with pcimage. You are not getting the truth.

You can still recover the data without the top label. It's a bit more difficult, but it's no big deal.

Yep, sad but true.

A long time ago I used to believe what clients told me, but nowadays it's much more like assuming they ARE lying :-(

Not all of course, we can usually tell the genuine guys. But peeled labels, screws missing and dents on the lid/chassis edge are dead giveaways!!
