hello i bought m2 1 tb in January suddenly it is not working properly it corrupted the folder lock locker of 250 gb today i check the smart it show this errors please share you experience

The hard drive is deteriorating by developing bad sectors, making data on it inaccessible.

Best course of action is to clone your drive to another healthy drive and then recover your data.

Can use the search function for "cloning" to see threads on how you can do this.

Power the drive off until you have a solid plan on how you will do this. Best option is for a professional with the proper hardware/software to do this.

thanks for the reply i start recovery of data but any help about folder lock (flkb) files which corrupted and their new size is 4 kb and they are of 120gb.

and why this is happening to my harddrive what is the root cause of this hard drive failure.Any help about it.
MY wd 1tb sata 6gb's mbr was deletd due to bad sectors and now this samasung TB get bad sector too.

I discussed some of your previous drive problems with you, in your earlier threads.

IMHO it is clear that something you are doing, or something in your environment (including power, as we discussed before), is causing you to suffer from similar problems with so many different drives.

Are you using a UPS now? If so, has that stopped the unplanned power losses for your PC & external disk drive(s)?

Without TV cameras following you, to watch everything you do with these drives, I don't know how we can accurately diagnosis your problem remotely.

Thanks for again reply and i'm using a surge protector and ups but last time when my wd 1TB got bad sector at that time i'm also using Hitachi 500 GB.Which is working perfectly fine till toady so that just a brand difference that wd and Samsung cause problem but Hitachi is working perfectly fine.
