I have a Hitachi HDS721064CLA332 640GB mlc: JPT3EA And i snapped the board on the back of it and need to fix it, i was thinking of buying the same hard drive i found on ebay and swap the boards to retrieve my data.

Will this work, or will i be wasting my money?
And any other thoughts would be great thanks

Use the search function for "adaptive", "unique" or "firmware".
