Just a question....

Would it be possible to change the serial number of a harddrive or copy it from the old broken one (same model off course ) ?
(Hitachi and Toshiba 2,5 hdd's)

Problem: have software that is locked to the harddrive serial number and want to swap the disk since the old one isn't 100%

I know of several applications that will change the HDD serial. Start Googling

hi all,

we can change serial number by change data into module ID of HDD
how to ways to change data into module ID of HDD.
