Hi ,

I hoping some one can help with my faulty hard drive.
My Son drop the hard drive from the bench onto the wood floor.
Please see the attach photo for model details.
The hard drive is not found in the bios.
It just clicks and then stops and clicks some more and turns off.

The PCB is
2061-701537-h00 a e
2060-701537-003 rev a

Thanks for your help
Jason .

Your drive has a Magnetic Head Assembly failure and will require new heads. I recommend not powering on the drive any more. The bad news is that you will definitely need professional assistance with this as it's not a DIY job.

Absolutely correct, this is not a DIY case.
