Hi all, solution to problem with hard drive wd5000aaks-07a7b2 and internal integrated ROM is here. Step one: get a new PCB. Step two: start the drive with new PCB so you will get the access to service area modules. Step three: rebuild the ROM and Rom modules from service area. Step four: write the ROM modules in to a new PCB. If you still having a problems with the drive look in to analyse if the PREAMP is fulty but this analyse goes back to the point at step two when you can get access to service area by ID so it means that heads are reading and preamp is working ok.
